# A/B Test with Remote Config

Assume you have a Remote Config that manages coupon information displayed on the home screen. The coupon offers a 20% discount, and the CTA button message for downloading the coupon is "Get Your Discount Now."

With Remote Config, you can change the coupon discount rate and CTA button message without a deployment. For example, to offer a separate coupon to VIP members, you can use targeting and configure it as follows:

You can also change the coupon discount rate and CTA button message displayed to regular members.

However, to verify whether the new CTA copy achieves a higher click-through rate (CTR) for the coupon download button compared to the existing copy, you can run an A/B Test on the CTA copy.

Create an A/B Test for the "CTA copy" and set the A/B Test as a targeting condition as shown in the image below, so that users in Group B see the new CTA copy.

After that, navigate to the A/B Test page, start the test, and compare the click-through rate trend for each group. On the Remote Config screen, there is a button to the right of the A/B Test targeting condition area that lets you navigate to the A/B Test detail page.
